Abstract
The paper conducts a theoretical/experimental study of how fixed hierarchies of mempools can be operated optimally by “solvers” to optimize the expected “global” utility under suitable assumptions about “birth processes” of intents. We cover the specific examples of order books, CowSwap, and flow-trading.
