Notes, to be further fleshed out.
XAN burn in intents
- Users can elect to burn XAN in intents
- Intent processors (solvers, relay nodes) can require that a certain amount of XAN is burned
- Configurable ruleset. Could require e.g. % burn for swaps.
- Minimum burn agreed to in some consensus (governance).
- Extra above that solvers can take as a tip.
- Enforcement
- Enforcement in what messages nodes accept
- Intents can require matched intents to also burn
- Users select only solvers who follow these rules (maybe also staked)
- Intent fees can also be paid in other tokens to the XAN foreign reserve (same mechanism).
Sequencing fees
- Top-of-block auctions (for e.g. Binance arbitrage and such). XAN collected thereby is burned.
- Priority fees for the rest of the block. XAN collected thereby is burned.
- These fees can also be paid in other tokens, they are either sent to the foreign reserve or swapped for XAN which is burned afterwards.
